Eat like a local at this massive supermarket complex underneath Shibuya’s Tokyo Department Store. These food areas are pretty common in Tokyo (basically it’s where you go to buy groceries), but this is a great location to experience it firsthand.
You’ll find row after row of small food stands selling an assortments of fresh seafood, bento lunch boxes, pastries, grilled and fried foods, snacks, desserts and more! While here is a small standing area for eating, there are no other tables or seats in the area but generally most of the items are easily packed and prepped to be taken to go.
