Muji Hotel Ginza

The new Muji Hotel in Tokyo is now open and located in the heart of Ginza and gives you easy access to many upscale shops and restaurants within walking distance. Since the theme of The MUJI HOTEL is “Anti-Gorgeous, Anti-Cheap,” you can now enjoy a simple yet quality stay in Tokyo at affordable prices.

The wide variety of room choices will cater to any preference with nine different room choices – all of which also help you stay “green” and sustainable. Neither plastic bags nor plastic straws can be found at MUJI Ginza. As the hotel champions sustainability, recycled materials are used throughout its design.

If you’re a fan of Muji, the Muji Hotel makes it easy to want to stay indoors and explore.  The space is set to include a total of 79 rooms, located from the 6th to 10th floors of the new MUJI flagship store in Ginza. In the same building you’ll have access to a huge Muji store,  a diner, a grocery section selling fruit and vegetables, art galleries, a salon, a common space, and even a library.

Standard amenities will include a toothbrush and paste, shaver, shower cap, cotton pads, cotton buds, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, refrigerator, safe, electric kettle, hair dryer etc. All Muji branded of course.

Unlike most hotels that have “dynamic pricing”, which sees rates go up during busy periods, prices at Muji hotels remain the same throughout the year, regardless of seasons and holidays. Globetrender applauds this transparency and consistency. Reservations will also only be possibly through the Muji website.

For more details on restaurants and food options, you can check out the official website and if you’re ready to book your stay, you’ll have to book directly from their website here.
