Lamb Duck Tokyo

Amazing Lamb and Duck, worth the wait

Lamb Duck Tokyo is nestled in the Kagurazaka neighborhood near Shinjuku, Tokyo. It’s best if you call ahead and make a reservation here, as you will be able to quickly get a table once you arrive so you can avoid the wait.

But that’s not the wait we’re talking about here, when you order certain dishes, the waiters will politely mention that the dish may take up to 40-50 min to prepare – and thats a good thing. Lamb Duck Tokyo takes its time carefully season and grill your dishes so that it comes out impeccably perfect. So perfect that they will deliver the dish to your table so you can ooh and aahh over the dish before they professionally slice up the meat and vegetables right in front of you at your table.

I have never been a huge fan of lamb or duck, if its not prepared well it can tend to taste a bit too gamey for my tastes. Lamb Duck Tokyo definitely is full of flavor without being overly gamey.

Half a duck! About 750-800 grams of meat

The menu also includes an assortment of salads, sides, cheeses that pair perfectly with wine that you should probably definitely order with your meal. Although the restaurant is small, you should definitely come with at least 2 or 3 people so that you can share and try more dishes together.
