Celebrate summer with the Kuroko no Basket characters
There’s a small amusement park inside the Ikebukuro Sunshine City building, where sometimes they have fun events with anime. This time, they’re collaborating with Kuroko’s Basketball, and you’ll find a plethora of fun foods here. Namjatown itself is fun to explore by itself, but if you’re into Kuroko’s Basketball, you’re in for a treat!
This collab event features food, some mini-games, and of course, adorable chibi character goods to take home with you. So relax, enjoy the interesting setup that is Namjatown, and don’t forget to selfie with all the Kuroko things inside. (Do note, though, that Namjatown tends to be more geared towards kids — if that’s not your cup of tea, there’s always the Animate store right outside of Sunshine City, which will have plenty of anime goodies too.)
Menu
Each character gets his own menu! They’re offering 12 different drinks and food items inside the amusement park. Each item comes with a free character card, so if you’re super into Kuroko, go with some friends and collect ’em all.

Merch
When you’re done enjoying the Namjatown amusement park, you’ll find the gift shop area. Take a look and maybe you’ll find something cool to grab. I totally wouldn’t mind a Kuroko cushion to squish. Squish squish.
Pro tip
Ready for more anime fun in Ikebukuro? Near the station, there’s an art gallery called the PARCO Museum at the Ikebukuro PARCO (main building). Last time I went, there was an exhibit for Kemono Friends. Or enjoy the collab cafe — featured Tokyo Ghoul last I checked. Same building, same floor. Have fun!
