Caffice is a clean but cozy cafe in Shinjuku, within walking distance from the station. From outside, it just looks like a cute cafe on the second floor of yet another city building. But when you go in, you’ll feel right at home. They have regular drinks, lunch, and even alcohol. The seating in the front is for groups, but if you’re here alone, you’ll find some good single-seaters in the back.

The perfect spot for digital nomads

So, you may be wondering what makes this place any different from any other cafe. Well, it’s rare you find a cafe this suitable for digital nomads. The cafe has outlets at every table, and the wifi there is surprisingly good. (You’ll find the wifi password on the menu.)

Back in my digital nomad days, I would come in for lunch and stay for a few hours doing work. I think now they have a time-limit policy, but it’s definitely worth trying. You’ll feel right at home, because there will be other digital nomads doing exactly the same thing.

Menu

Drinks start in the 800 yen range, but if you make it for lunch, you can eat in the 1,000 – 1,400 yen range. Lunch is served 10am-2pm, and comes with soup or salad and coffee, so it’s not bad if you’re going to bunk here for a while anyway.

Enjoy Caffice – your cafe-office, essentially.
