Celebrate Holi, the “Festival of Colors,” one of the most important festivals in India. The event is happening at Nishi-Kasai Station, in the Edogawa ward.
Holi is one of the important festivals in India. It is popularly known as “Festival of colors” is publicly celebrated throughout in India. Indians welcome the beginning of spring with bonfires and smearing different colors on the body (each color represent a meaning – Red symbolizes love and fertility; yellow is the color of turmeric represents auspiciousness; blue represents the Hindu God Krishna, and green is for new beginnings). Usually, in India people prepare sweets, savories and special foods, meet friends and relatives, smear colors on face and cloths and offer them sweets.
